I will always remember my first time trapping a raccoon mom and her pups out of an attic. I was so intent on what it was that I was doing that I did not notice the female raccoon in the other corner of the attic staring straight at me. She had her young not from from where I was setting traps and she was nervous!

As I was finishing I heard the tell tail noise of one angry raccoon and as I turned towards the noise I saw her as she was running across one of the boards right at me. I did they only thing I could! I scream and swung my flashlight at her and luckily she ran past and hid in the other corner with here young, growling loudly.

My heart beating fast and my nerves completely shot I left the attic to the mother raccoon till the next day. I have to tell you I was contemplating my choose at this career.

The next day though I found that the mother raccoon and all her young were trapped safely in the traps I placed.
